Penny Hydraulics Donates Christmas Gift to Ashgate Hospice

by

As you may be aware, many charitable foundations are having serious difficulties at the moment as fundraising has been severely curtailed due to the Covid-19 restrictions. Penny Hydraulics, therefore, took the decision to donate a considerable cash gift to local charity Ashgate Hospice in place of our usual gifts, cards or hampers to our partners this year.

‘Penny Hydraulics Ltd has been a long-term supporter of Ashgate Hospice that provides end-of-life care to patients with complex, palliative care needs to people from the Chesterfield area. The hospice draws over 70% of its funding from donations and so we are delighted to announce that £2000 has been sent to their Winter Crisis Appeal.’ says Penny Hydraulics Managing Director, Robin Penny.

Charlotte Gratton, Capital Appeal & Partnerships Manager expressed her gratitude in a letter to the Penny Hydraulics team. ‘As the pandemic continues to put pressure on our services, your generous gift is helping us to continue to care for those who need us. Your gift is helping us to deliver our compassionate, specialist end of life care to patients and families across North Derbyshire during one of the most difficult winters the hospice has ever faced. For that, we can’t thank you enough’.
