Jack Miles gets a top 3 finish at the AMRC Apprentice of the Year Awards.

Apprentice installation engineer Jack Miles narrowly misses out on AMRC ‘First Year Apprentice of the Year’ Award. There were over 250 applicants including apprentices from businesses such as Boeing and Rolls Royce.

We are immensely proud of Jack Miles who secured a top 3 finish in the AMRC ‘First Year Apprentice of the Year’ award.

Find out more about the finalists and Jack below in the video.

Jack is a product of the AMRC apprenticeship programme and has been a really valuable addition to the Penny Hydraulics Goods Lift team.

Speaking about the awards Director of the AMRC Training Centre, Nikki Jones, said: “The Apprentice of the Year awards is the highlight of the Training Centre’s calendar; it is a fantastic opportunity for us to celebrate the achievements of our apprentices and shows, with the right attitude, commitment and support, just what anyone can achieve.

“All our apprentices work hard to achieve the best results, and it is an honour to see some shining examples of success here tonight, our apprentices really are a credit to themselves and their companies.”

Robin Penny, Managing Director of Penny Hydraulics had some fantastic comments to share about Jack: “Jack has fitted in as though he has been part of the team for many years… he is eager to learn and to excel as an engineer, we wouldn’t know what we would have done without him.”

Congratulations, Jack
