Penny Hydraulics made its return to the CV Show last week in Birmingham with a bang after a 4-year absence. The launch of the VW Crafter Dropside with PH110 ‘engineered-to-go’ lifting solution offered customers the option to purchase a new Crafter with a hydraulic crane that can lift up to 990kg from just £494 a month.
We also demonstrated our new Lightweight LoadLift which has been developed to capitalise on the trend of requests for loading solutions for up to 100kg. We are working on promotional material for the product – if you would like any more information please contact us.
The show also marked the debuts of a new demonstration vehicle, Vehicle Mounted Equipment brochure and sales lead application which were met with adulation from both the Penny Hydraulics team and visitors to the stand.
The brochure outlines the problems companies and van operators face lifting heavy or oversize items on and off vehicles and outlines our range of lifting solutions. Not only can a lifting solution speed up the efficiency of staff and vehicles but they can make the movement of goods safer for all involved. Request your brochure to find out more!
Our new sales app has been developed to provide the customer with images, technical specifications and video for each of our products all in one place.
‘The sales app has revolutionised how we interact with our customers. The user interface has been designed for even the least experienced team member to be able offer advice on which lifting solution is suitable for the customer. The app brings together all of the information that both our sales team and the customer could possibly need and then allows the customer to request a quotation, call back or demonstration. It was a massive success improving the customer experience and projecting a professional image.’
- -Marketing Manager, Dan Casey
As well as meeting potential new customers, the team took the chance to catch up with existing contacts and friends.
Sales Director, Richard Short particularly enjoyed the show:
‘The CV Show brings together the entire industry, it is a fantastic opportunity to catch up with the many companies and customers that we have worked with over the years, as well as meet new customers and develop new working relationships. This year we strategically chose to have our stand opposite VW who we have an extremely strong partnership with, it’s brilliant to be able to share a coffee instead of exchanging emails!’
Now that the dust has settled, the team are working hard to work through all of the enquiries and to catch up on the work that has built up during the week out of the office.
If you didn’t manage to make it to the show, but would like any information about our range of vehicle mounted equipment then get in touch. We can offer advice, demonstrations, quotations and more.
