The Penny Hydraulics Vertical Cellar Lift is the most popular choice in the range for lifting, raising or hoisting kegs, casks or a double stack of crates weighing up to 300kg, equivalent to a 54 gallon barrel, between the delivery point and the cellar, which can be either in the basement of on the first floor, while occupying minimum space. It is extremely adaptable for most situations and special versions are available for installation in older, smaller or unusual buildings. A front loading version can loaded and unloaded from the same direction to minimise the space occupied by the equipment. A side loading version is ideal when there is ample width but restricted depth in the opening, for example where skylights have been replaced in the pavement overhead.
