The self-contained winch provides a safe, fast and convenient method for lowering all types of luminaire to maintenance height. This is achieved using a wireless radio remote control unit with up to a 100m range or via hardwired signal wires. The innovative design is available in a range of ‘off the shelf’ options to suit most applications, with lifting capacities that range from 1kg to 500kg, with a lowering distance of up to 30m.
Although these winching systems are most commonly used for high bay lighting, they can also be used for any other high-level items that require cleaning or maintenance such as artwork, ceiling fans, speakers, advertising banners, CCTV and sensor units.
