RAM REFURBISHMENT FROM PENNY HYDRAULICS
Penny Hydraulics offers a comprehensive hydraulic and pneumatic
ram refurbishment and maintenance service that is designed to
extend and prolong the productive life of all types of equipment
used in mining, engineering and other industries. The company
offers a fast and cost effective service with nationwide collection
and delivery. It can also manufacture new rams to a customer's
specification for unusual and bespoke applications.
The company's dedicated maintenance facility is equipped with
a wide range of tools that enable it to accommodate rams of
virtually any size, typically up to 10 feet (3.25m) long and
12 inch (300mm) bore. Each ram is stripped and inspected on
arrival by the company's team of specialist hydraulic engineers.
Replacement parts including pistons, seals and glands are machined
or remanufactured on site to exacting specifications or ordered
from the original equipment manufacturer. Reassembled rams are
tested and painted to a customer's specification before final
delivery.
Penny Hydraulics has designed and manufactured hydraulic rams
and associated equipment for more than 25 years. Using the expertise
and techniques it has developed the company is able to offer
a full range of design, consulting and manufacturing services
for conventional and specialist applications.
Penny Hydraulics can manufacture hydraulic rams of almost any
size and has, for example, provided the unit for the world's
largest outside broadcast TV screen.
The company also offers refurbishment facilities for ancillary
and related equipment such as hydraulic power packs and fittings,
stop and non-return valves used in mining and process industries,
and jacking beams used in the automotive trade.
A nationwide collection and delivery service is available and
customers can also bring items direct to the company's factory
in Derbyshire. Through its national network of service engineers
the company is also able to offer an inspection service that
enables customers to ensure their equipment is checked annually
in line with existing regulations.
