Specifying a Goods Lift
How do I know what goods lift to choose?
Depending on what you are wanting to lift, the site constraints and the frequency of use, will determine the type of Goods Lift you need. The MezzLift can handle larger goods like pallets and trolleys, and transport them to a second or third floor, which can be in a warehouse, factory, retail store or workshops. The Cellar Lift is more suited to barrels and crates. Standard lifts are available from 250kg-1000kg
Bay lifts are an ideal solution if you are lifting or handling loads where the height difference is less than two metres. Versions are available which will lift between 500kg and 1000kg.
If you need more information on which lift is ideal for you, then you can send a query to email@example.com or call 01246 811475 and speak to our Goods Lift department directly. All our lifts are goods only. We do not manufacture man-riding lifts.
What information do you need from me to specify a goods lift?
To be able to specify a goods lift we would need to know:
- What are you wanting to lift and how big is it?
- What does the heaviest item weight?
- How will it be loaded? Is it on a pallet truck or is it being carried manually for instance?
- How much room have we got in the building?
- What is the floor to floor height that you are wanting the lift to travel?
- Who will operate the lift? Will it be for staff or general public?
- How often will it be used?
- If you have plans of the building then it helps if you can through to us if you require a quotation or advice.
